Assess Needs: The target of this ministry is to reach out to singles and couples 50+ years of age within Christ Life and also outside our church to bring people into fellowship with believers and ultimately a relationship with the Lord. There are many who do not feel connected or belonging. The needs are varied but they include spiritual, a sense of belonging, friendship, and having fun together. We will schedule events, i.e. BBQ's, plays, game nights, musicals, concerts, nursing home ministry, etc. (approximately 6 to 9 events per year)

Accurate Representation: Offer study groups Offer a question and answer meeting regarding the Christian Faith, asking Pastor Russ or an elder to answer quesitons. Pray with and for each other.       (Photos of "2007 Mystery Bus Trip")

Active Reconciliation: Invite Christ Life people and others to join our various activities. Provide meals for people who are sick, needing transportation, etc. Nursing Home Ministry; visiting seniors from Christ Life and outside our church. Invite Christ Life people and others to attend dramas and concerts at various churches and colleges; i.e. Easter Musical at North Heights Lutheran Church, Concerts at Northwestern College, etc. Click here for a list of Befrienders Upcoming Events
